Job summary

A community-focused organization in Seattle is seeking a part-time Youth Soccer Instructor to work with children in their Soccer for Success after-school program. Responsibilities include instructing practices, officiating scrimmages, and providing leadership during games. Candidates must be at least 18 years old with prior experience working with youth, and hold current first-aid and CPR certifications. Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• Six months or more previous experience working with children, camps, child care, tutoring, nannying, or coaching.
• Current state approved first-aid certification.
• Current state approved community CPR certification.
• Knowledge of culturally relevant and developmentally appropriate practices.

Responsibilities

• Instruct practices and games according to YMCA guidelines.
• Assist in the development of programming.
• Set up and take down class equipment.
• Convey basic information on YMCA programs to members.
