Job summary

Associated Recreation Council (ARC) is seeking a Basketball Camp Instructor to lead youth basketball camps at Ballard Community Center in Seattle. The role focuses on teaching basic basketball skills, drills, and scrimmages while keeping campers active, safe, and engaged in a fun, supportive environment.

The position is part-time and seasonal with hours 8:45am-4:15pm, Monday through Friday, at the Ballard Community Center.

Qualifications

• Instruct participants in basketball skills and basic game play.
• Create engaging drills and scrimmages for youth participants.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive and safe camp environment.
• Capably manage groups and communicate clearly with staff.

Associated Recreation Council (ARC), in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is seeking a qualified Basketball Camp Instructor to lead youth basketball camps at Ballard Community Center.

These camps focus on building fundamental basketball skills while keeping participants active and engaged. Campers will practice dribbling, passing, shooting, and scoring, and apply their skills during regular scrimmages. Emphasis is placed on teamwork, sportsmanship, and having fun in an encouraging environment.

Schedule

Monday – Friday | 8:45am-4:15pm

Hourly Wage: $25.00-$26.00

Status: Part-time, Seasonal

Location – Ballard Community Center
