Job summary

Cerity Partners invites a Summer 2027 Risk Management Strategy Intern to work with the Head of Risk Management Operations on data-driven projects. You will engage in data reconciliation, clean-up, Claude-based AI workflows, and dashboard maintenance to support strategic planning of the firm's risk management practice.

The role offers a paid, full-time internship (40 hours/week) with exposure to real operational and strategic work within a leading national RIA.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in business, economics, finance, operations, or related field.
• Strong interest in consulting, business operations, or strategy with data-driven approach.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; comfortable reconciling/cleaning large data sets; familiarity with PowerPoint.
• Strong working knowledge of AI tools, particularly Claude; apply to data clean-up, research, analysis workflows.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar data tools is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle large, imperfect data sets.
• Clear and confident written and verbal communication; participate in planning calls and absorb context quickly.
• Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and professional integrity.

Responsibilities

• Support data reconciliation across Salesforce and other systems to ensure risk management data is accurate and complete.
• Assist with data clean-up and organization projects, identifying and resolving discrepancies across trackers, reports, and source systems.
• Partner on Claude-based AI projects that streamline and automate risk management reporting, research, and analysis workflows.
• Maintain and enhance trackers, dashboards, and databases that support day-to-day operations.
• Join internal planning calls and meetings to learn how the Risk Management team develops strategy; prepare materials and distribute meeting notes.
