Job summary

Holmes Murphy invites you to join our Risk & Safety Intern program for Summer 2027 in Denver, CO and Waukee, IA. This 10-week, on-site internship offers exposure to the Property Casualty Risk & Safety team and hands-on learning in risk management and workplace safety.

You will work alongside experienced consultants, assist with client research, and contribute to training materials and policy recommendations. Paid internship with strong professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or pursuing enrollment at a 4-year institution.
• Majors pursued by past interns include Risk Management & Insurance, Safety, Business, Industrial Hygiene.
• Experience in customer service, safety, or administrative roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn how Risk & Safety consultants identify risk and safety improvements.
• Assist with research and analysis of client risk and safety programs.
• Support development of training materials, safety policies, and program recommendations.
• Gain exposure to on-site and remote client services.
• Learn about regulatory compliance and reporting requirements (OSHA/DOT).
