Job summary

MIT Lincoln Laboratory invites applications for a Summer Research Program Intern in Advanced Sensor Systems and Test Beds. You will join a multidisciplinary team to design, test, and analyze RF sensor prototypes across bench and field environments.

Projects range from hardware trade studies to software optimization and data analysis, with mentorship, workshops, and networking opportunities throughout the 10–12 week summer program.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in BS/MS/PhD in engineering, physics, mathematics, or related field
• GPA 3.5+ strongly desired
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• Assist in hardware trade studies and component design
• Test system performance on benchtop and field setups
• Develop data analysis tools and control code for radar positioners
• Contribute to modeling and planning of experiments
