MIT Lincoln Laboratory in Lexington, MA is seeking a summer research intern to join the Airborne Radar Systems and Techniques group. You will work on radar signal processing algorithms, data analysis, and prototype development for high-performance sensor systems.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a degree program in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Completed at least through sophomore year at time of employment.
  • Interest in digital signal processing techniques, machine learning, or RF hardware.
  • Basic programming skills in MATLAB, Python, or C/C++.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineers to enhance radar signal processing algorithms for target detection, tracking, and identification.
  • Analyze radar data to extract insights and improve system performance.
  • Participate in projects involving latest advancements in signal processing and radar technology.
  • Develop and simulate signal processing algorithms using MATLAB or Python.
  • Explore real-time algorithm implementation on embedded platforms.
  • Present contributions and findings to peers.
