Job summary

City of Charleston is seeking a Recreational Aid to perform a broad range of duties supporting summer recreational programs at community centers. You will greet patrons, answer phones, help supervise activities, and assist with facility maintenance.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed and a willingness to assist with cleaning, pool concession tasks, and other duties. Prior experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience performing similar duties is desired.

Responsibilities

• Greet patrons, answer telephones, enforce center rules, and perform facility maintenance at community centers.
• Assist with creating and supervising community center programs and activities.
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing high usage areas within the recreational centers.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
