Job summary

BWE’s Summer 2027 Internship- Production in Charlotte, NC offers exposure to procurement, marketing, and closing CRE financing transactions. You’ll work on underwriting support, market research, and preparing client materials as part of a collaborative Production team.

You’ll gain insights into asset classes, deal structuring, and financial modeling while interacting with professionals across the capital markets. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate sophomore or junior.
• Desire to work in the commercial real estate industry.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide underwriting support for current deals, including market surveys, lease reviews, and financial analyses.
• Assist in client, property, and market research.
• Support in preparing marketing materials for clients and capital sources.
• Inspect real estate and surrounding land uses.
• Help maintain a contact database of customers, capital providers, and others in the commercial real estate and finance industry.
• Contribute to the maintenance of office pipeline reports.
• Ad hoc special projects.
