Job summary

Kimco Realty Corp. in New York is offering a Summer Internship to current undergraduate or graduate students pursuing business with real estate interests. The program runs about 8 weeks, ~40 hours per week, paid at $20 per hour, with flexible start dates.

You will assist with Form 10-Q preparation, support quarter-close planning, build analyses using AI tools for accounting projects, and collaborate with Treasury and Tax teams on cross-functional assignments. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in a business oriented major
• Strong written, verbal and analytical skills
• Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of internal and external customers
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn internal systems

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of Kimco's quarterly Form 10-Q filing
• Partner with the Corporate Accounting team on preparing leads for quarter-end close
• Build analyses using AI tools to support accounting projects
• Assist with internal controls audit procedures
• Support planning and preparation efforts related to Kimco hosting the AdHoc Conference
• Collaborate with other departments, including Treasury and Tax, on projects and assignments as needed
