Job summary

Kimco Realty Corp. seeks Interns to join a collaborative, growth-oriented team for a Summer internship. The program runs for approximately eight weeks with about 40 hours per week and an hourly rate of $20.

Interns will assist with corporate accounting tasks, including Form 10-Q preparation, quarter-end close support, and cross-functional collaboration with Treasury and Tax teams. Ideal candidates are enrolled business students with strong communication and analytical skills, proficient in Word,

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in a business oriented major, preferably real estate
• Strong written, verbal and analytical skills
• Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of internal and external customers
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn internal systems

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of Kimco’s quarterly Form 10-Q filing
• Partner with the Corporate Accounting team on preparing leads for quarter-end close
• Build analyses using AI tools to support accounting projects
• Assist with internal controls audit procedures
• Support planning and preparation efforts related to Kimco hosting the AdHoc Conference
• Collaborate with other departments, including Treasury and Tax, on projects and assignments as needed
