Job summary

Franklin Electric Co. is seeking a Summer 2027 Project Management Intern in Fort Wayne, IN. This engineering-focused role will assist in documenting and detailing New Product Development and productivity processes to improve execution and reduce risk.

You will support cross-functional teams, create workflows, and update PDP documentation while developing lean tools for future documents and processes. The internship emphasizes collaboration and real-world project exposure.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in an engineering field or Project Management.
• Sophomore status (by date of hire) in college or higher

Responsibilities

• Create common tool and process instruction formats for New Product Developments.
• Update current documentation to new format.
• Create and update PDP Process Workflows and documentation systems to a common format.
• Create lean tools and processes for creating future new documents and workflows for easy maintenance.
• Work with engineering and other cross functional teams to develop and detail sub-process process workflows specific to New Product Development activities and stage gates.
• Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
