Job summary

fairlife, LLC is offering a Project Engineering Intern position at the Coopersville, MI plant for the 2027 summer. This 11-week internship runs from May 24 to August 10, 2027, providing hands-on experience in production plant project engineering and exposure to senior leadership.

You will work closely with full-time engineers, learn to lead projects, report results, and develop a deeper understanding of facility processes and standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a four-year undergrad program, entering Fall, senior.
• Preferred focus: Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• GPA 3.0/4.0 or higher.
• Able to work independently with guidance.
• Able to work with contractors and provide instruction.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Excellent English communication (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Assist in understanding the Engineering Team's roles at the facility.
• Learn to lead and report on project results.
• Collaborate with full-time team members at the Coopersville plant.
• Support high-priority projects to deliver results.
• Learn manufacturing processes and contribute to standards.
