Job summary

Balfour Beatty Construction is seeking motivated college students for a Summer 2027 internship to work in Dallas, TX, on various projects. Essential functions include learning project budget management, safety and quality control, and review of submittals, RFIs and change documents as part of the Office

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Construction Management program.
• Prior commercial construction internships or work experience is helpful but not required.
• Strong computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Assist in learning project budget management, including cost and schedule coordination.
• Learn Safety and Quality Control programs and coordinate actions to address issues.
• Familiarize with company procedures, correspondence process and office support.
• Review submittal data and shop drawings; track RFIs and change requests.
• Coordinate submittals, deliveries, and communications affecting project schedule.
