Job summary

Goodfellow Bros Inc in Folsom, CA invites a Project Engineer Intern for Summer 2027. Under supervision of a Project Engineer or Estimator, you will assist with construction duties, plan checks, and document control while gaining hands-on experience on real projects.

Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering, have legal work authorization in the US, and hold a valid driver's license; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related major.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager/Project Engineers/Estimators with construction-related duties.
• Track work hour utilization and productivity.
• Maintain file/library of material suppliers, labor laws, rental rates, and subcontractors.
• Assist in change order preparations, plan checking, document control, quality control and safety monitoring.
• Prepare cost breakdowns and assist in monthly invoices.
