Job summary

Textron in Amarillo, TX seeks a 2027 Summer Intern in Production Engineering to gain hands-on experience on real projects with experienced engineers. You will support process improvement efforts and learn metric development and analytics tools in a fast-paced aviation environment.

Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, have at least 60 credits by June 1, 2026, and commit to the full 10-week program (June 1–August 7, 2026). A 3.0 GPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum 60 college credit hours by internship start (June 1, 2026).
• Able to complete full 10-week internship (June 1–August 7, 2026).
• GPA 3.0 preferred.
• Rising junior preferred in 2026.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineering management to receive assignments.
• Support build teams with information to complete daily tasks.
• Use metric development and analytics tools.
