Job summary

Danone North America is offering a Summer 2027 Product Development Intern (UG) in the Research & Innovation team. The 10-week program runs May 31–August 6, with a 40-hour week, hybrid schedule, and 3+ days in the office during Colorado summer.

You will contribute to prototype product development, lab testing, and cross-functional collaboration, culminating in leadership-presented findings; housing/relocation support available.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year undergraduate degree in a related field.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams; strong written/oral communication.
• Self-starter mindset with initiative to identify opportunities.
• Competence in computer applications and data-driven decision support.
• Project management skills and ability to lead projects through stages.
• Previous internship or work experience is preferred.
• Interest in consumer-packaged goods/manufacturing with Danone after graduation.
• Familiarity with certification programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leverage scientific expertise and complete projects using research methods.
• Plan, execute, and manage development of prototype products and processes.
• Develop supplier relationships to meet project needs.
• Conduct lab testing and shelf-life studies as needed.
• Use sensory/consumer testing to improve products for the market.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Operations, Engineering.
