Job summary

Danone North America is offering a 10-week Summer Internship Experience (SIE) in Colorado, May 31, 2027–August 6, 2027. The Product Development Intern will support R&I with prototype development, lab work, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will work a 40-hour week with a hybrid schedule (3+ days in the office) and have opportunities to present findings to senior leadership, with competitive compensation and access to housing subsidies and relocation stipend.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year undergraduate degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, Food Processing, or related major.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and in teams; strong written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Leverage scientific expertise to complete projects using research, statistics, and technical reporting.
• Plan and manage development of prototype products and processes in lab and pilot plant; maintain documentation.
• Develop supplier relationships to meet project needs.
• Conduct lab testing and shelf-life studies as needed.
• Utilize sensory and consumer testing insights to create high-performing products.
