Qualifications

• Able to work at least 12 weeks (May/June–August).
• Previous applicable internships.
• Self-starter with strong time management and communication skills.
• Detail oriented and a team player.
• Interested in transportation/automotive industry.
• High level of computer skills (Microsoft Applications and Internet).

Responsibilities

• Vendor Consolidation Strategy and Tail Spend Analysis
• Establish process for Supplier Capacity/Lead time documentation
• Assist with data mining to formulate Category Strategies with Engineering liaison
• Assisting in CSA negotiation and execution
• Optimization of Aftermarket processes and part number rationalization
• Creation and maintenance of Procurement dashboards and systems
• Use Ai to drive digital optimization within the organization
