Job summary

The PMI U.S. Undergraduate Intern – Supply Chain & Procurement Summer 2027 is a hands-on program designed to immerse students in sourcing, procurement, planning, and logistics activities.

You will work on meaningful projects, gain exposure to leaders, and contribute to initiatives driving business results and future career growth. Program dates are June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027, with opportunities to learn industry best practices, improve process efficiency, and develop professional skills

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Interest in supply chain operations, sourcing, procurement, and business transformation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Power BI, SAP, SQL, or other analytics tools is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing, procurement, and supply chain projects that improve operational efficiency and business performance.
• Conduct supplier research, spend analysis, and reporting to support purchasing decisions.
• Assist with purchase requisitions and purchase orders while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with teams across Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations.
• Analyze inventory, demand, supplier, and operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support supplier performance tracking and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and process documentation for stakeholders.
• Participate in projects focused on supply chain optimization, cost savings, risk management, and process improvement.
• Research industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
• Present project outcomes and recommendations to business leaders at the conclusion of the internship.
