Job summary

Merrick & Company is seeking a college Process/Chemical Engineering student for a paid summer internship in our Aiken, SC office with the Nuclear Services and Technology group. The program runs mid-May through mid-August 2027 and offers hands-on experience on real client projects.

You will work on process engineering tasks such as P&ID drawings, process simulations and engineering calculations, collaborate with engineers, designers, and clients, and gain exposure to budgets and schedules while

Qualifications

• Must have graduation date after August 2027 to be eligible.
• Must be pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Must be currently enrolled and entering junior year or higher of undergraduate degree or currently enrolled in grad school.
• Knowledge of fluid dynamics and heat transfer principles and calculations are required.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Client projects for this position require U.S. Citizenship.
