Swire Coca-Cola invites talented engineering students to join as a Manufacturing Process Engineer Intern for May–August 2027 in the Salt Lake City, Utah area. The role supports production lines and processing areas by identifying losses, driving out waste, and building long-term process capability with project charters for improvement actions.

Applicants should be pursuing an Engineering degree (Process, Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial) with graduation Aug 2027 or later and must be eligible

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Process, Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial) or equivalent related program.
• Graduation date of Aug 2027 or later.
• Available to work full-time for the duration of the summer (May – August 2027).
• Must not require sponsorship to legally work in the U.S. (i.e., H-1B, TN, OPT, CPT, O-1, E-3, or any other work visas), now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize, analyze, and eliminate losses and inefficiencies
• Collaborate with the Line Structure Teams to carry forward and execute improvements
• Assist in analyzing line performance including run rates, scrap rates, unplanned and planned down times, and any other operational losses including Safety and Quality opportunities
• Identify 1-3 actions to reduce these losses and create a project charter and scope for each action

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Process, Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial) or equivalent related program
