Job summary

Cover Care is seeking a Seasonal Field Service Helper (Pool Cover Sidekick) in Austin, TX for outdoor summer work. You will assist a Field Tech with installing and repairing pool cover systems, travel on job sites, and learn practical skills while earning hourly pay.

You’ll document work, communicate with customers, and contribute to a tidy, organized vehicle and site. Flexibility for longer days or weekends is required, with a safety-first, customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years old or older.
• Good attitude and willingness to learn (we can teach the rest).
• Strong customer service skills.
• Problem-solving mindset (figuring out why something isn’t working).
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills (measurements and simple calculations).
• Team player mentality.
• Flexible availability, including occasional longer days or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist a seasoned Field Tech to troubleshoot and repair pool cover systems.
• Grab tools, prep for jobs, and be the MVP of “having what we need when we need it.”
• Help document work (write things down as needed).
• Deliver friendly, professional service—because happy customers = happy team.
• Keep the work vehicle stocked, clean, and ready to roll.
• Adapt to different daily tasks; every day is a little different.
