Job summary

Cover Care, LLC in Connecticut is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair automatic pool cover systems at residential properties. This hands-on, field-based role requires travel locally to customer sites and completing service visits.

No pool cover experience is required as paid, hands-on training is provided. The position is full-time year-round with benefits, a company truck, tools, PTO, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel locally to customer job sites daily.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair automatic pool cover systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
• Follow work orders and complete jobs accurately.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and workspace.
• Complete service documentation and record work performed.
• Assist with training newer team members when needed.
