Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking Summer Patent Engineers (a ten-week position) to join the Intellectual Property Department in multiple offices. The role involves working with patent agents and attorneys, as well as inventors from innovative companies, to seek patent protection for new innovations.

Applicants graduating in December 2027 or May/June 2028 with an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field are encouraged to apply.

Formación

• Graduating December 2027 or May/June 2028 with an undergraduate degree in a related field.
• Strong academic record and ability to communicate clearly in writing and speech.
• Interest in patent protection and collaboration with attorneys, agents, and inventors.

Responsabilidades

• Support patent agents and attorneys in drafting and prosecuting patent applications.
• Collaborate with inventors from innovative companies to understand inventions.
• Assist IP team in preparing technical disclosures and related materials.
