Job summary

Premier Trailer Leasing invites students to join a 10-week Summer Internship program as an Operations Intern. The role combines office work, yard activities, and customer interactions to learn fleet management and equipment movement.

Interns will spend May 31–August 6, 2027, on-site at the Dallas, TX branch and Plano, TX corporate office, Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM. This paid internship emphasizes hands-on experience with branch operations and corporate teams.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a four-year degree or graduate program with GPA 3.0+.
• Interest in operations, logistics, fleet management, or related careers.
• Comfort working in both office and outdoor branch-yard environments.
• Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during the internship period.

Responsibilities

• Learn to inspect trailer equipment for safety, condition, and compliance.
• Coordinate trailer maintenance and repair work with vendors.
• Assist with fleet logistics and equipment movement between branches, customers, and vendors.
• Help with daily gate activity and maintain equipment flow.
• Assist with customer rental/leasing agreements and related operational docs.
• Support Accounts Receivable/Payables activities as needed.
