Job summary

Premier Trailer Leasing invites students to join a 10-week paid Summer Internship focused on building sales skills. As a Sales Intern, you will prospect for new business, develop customer relationships, and learn how Premier delivers value through Rent, Lease, Trailer Tracking and related services.

You will work alongside Branch Managers and Sales Representatives, gaining hands-on experience across the sales cycle and collaborating with operations and customer service to serve clients.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year degree or graduate program with a preferred major in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
• Rising junior or senior preferred with GPA 3.0 or greater.
• Interest in sales, business development or account management.
• Strong written and verbal communication with confidence to engage new people.

Responsibilities

• Research prospective customers and conduct outbound prospecting, including phone outreach.
• Join Branch Managers on customer visits and present Premier's value proposition (Rent, Lease, Trailer Tracking, LDW).
• Provide branch and inbound customer support via phone and email.
• Conduct follow-up calls and assist with appointment setup.
• Update CRM with calls, opportunities and contacts.
• Learn trailer specifications to support customer needs and solutions.
• Assist with generating rental/leasing agreements and related documentation.
• Support Accounts Receivable collections to gain exposure to the customer lifecycle.
• Assist teams with projects that support sales, customer service and operations.
