Job summary

SMBC invites undergraduates to join a 10-week Summer Intern Program in the Americas, starting in June. Interns work on teams across Operations, building financial models, preparing client presentations, and conducting research.

The program includes mentorship, senior speaker series, and networking events, serving as a pipeline to the full-time Analyst Program. Applicants should be pursuing an undergraduate degree with a graduation date in December 2027 or May 2028, demonstrate strong

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with graduation date Dec 2027 or May 2028
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interact with clients professionally
• Outstanding ethics, integrity and judgment
• Intellectual curiosity and teamwork orientation
• Highly organized, detail oriented and self-driven
• Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint and ability to learn new software

Responsibilities

• Build financial models and develop client presentations
• Conduct research and participate in client meetings
• Assist in a range of deals and internal projects
• Support onboarding and mentorship programs during the internship
