Job summary

Airbus Americas is offering a Summer Internship for an Operations Analyst in Mobile, AL, within the Support Operations Team. The program focuses on PPE management optimization and cost reduction strategies, providing hands-on experience in analyzing expenditures and benchmarking processes across facilities.

You will work under a mentor, gain insights into real-world problem solving, tour facilities, and build your professional network through events.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at least at the Sophomore level.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Interest in PPE management and cost reduction.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical PPE expenditures to identify cost drivers and inefficiencies.
• Assess current PPE management processes and benchmark processes across facilities (ordering, distribution, usage tracking) and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and propose a cost reduction strategy (e.g., procurement optimization, better allocation, waste reduction).
• Create a tracking system to monitor PPE consumption and optimize stock levels.
• Deliver recommendations and implementation guidelines to ensure sustainability of the cost reduction strategy.
• Other duties as assigned
