Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking a long-term intern for Cabin Engineering in Mobile, AL. You will join design and analysis teams, supporting cabin components through design, analysis, and certification processes for commercial aircraft interiors.

The role involves learning design tools, performing data analytics, automation and API/web development tasks, and delivering engineering reports under a mentor. On-site multi-semester program with project presentations to leadership.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in accredited full-time 4-year engineering degree program (Mechanical, Aeronautical / Aerospace / Civil / Systems / Electrical / Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science).
• Minimum Sophomore level or enrollment in a Master’s degree program is acceptable.
• Authorized to Work in the US without need of current, or future, visa sponsorship.
• Experience leading engineering projects as a student or in internship/research roles.

Responsibilities

• Participate in engineering projects across design, analysis, and certification of cabin interiors.
• Assist in automation, digitalization, and API/web application development; contribute data analytics.
• Generate engineering reports and templates for current projects; organize engineering data for reviews.
• Record minutes, prepare presentation material, and coordinate with internal/external customers on projects.
