Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc (CDPHP) invites students to join a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program. Interns gain hands-on experience in the Population Health Enterprise, supporting cost, quality, and member outcomes through analytics, reporting, and process improvement.

Interns work with mentors across business and clinical tracks, with development workshops and presentations at the end of the term. Housing is not provided; up to 40 hours/week, June to August.

Qualifications

• Majors/degree programs include Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Business or Data Analytics, MIS, Operations & Supply Chain Management, Project Management or similar programs.

Responsibilities

• The Operations Analyst Intern will support the Population Health Enterprise (PHE) Operations & Optimization team in advancing strategic initiatives focused on healthcare affordability, operational excellence, process improvement, performance reporting, and organizational effectiveness.
• Works with a mentor and supports key strategic projects.
• Completes work assignments based on business needs, departmental priorities, and individual qualifications.
• Performs a mix of technical and/or non-technical tasks that will cover a broad range of business-related projects.
• Creates and delivers presentations at completion of internship.
