Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Currently in good standing in RN academic program required.
• Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as Nurse Aide I and II prior to start date required.

Responsibilities

• Supports patients with activities of daily living.
• Assists with personal hygiene and comfort.
• Takes vital signs and measurements (height/weight).
• Feeds and ambulates patients per procedures.
• Maintains clean, orderly patient rooms.
• Observes and reports changes in patient conditions.
• Orients patients and families to unit and safety procedures.
• Assist with clerical tasks and maintain medical records.
• Maintain inventory and stock supplies.
• Perform tasks like 12-Lead EKG and venipuncture with proper training.
