Introba in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an Intern Mechanical Engineering Designer for the Summer of 2027. You will gain hands-on experience on diverse projects and join a collaborative team to expand your knowledge and sharpen practical skills.

The role offers exposure to engineering plans, CAD tools, and real-world design tasks under senior engineers' guidance, fostering growth and learning in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university program.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel and engineering software.
• Exposure to CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit).

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with engineering plans and details
• Perform quantity take-offs
• Assist with project monitoring and scheduling
• Assist with computer modeling
• Assist with producing progress reports
• Collaborate with other engineers, drafters, and support staff
• Assist in production of engineering drawings, calculations, and cost estimates under close supervision of senior engineers
• Ability to apply the use of proper codes and standards in the production of engineering deliverables
