Job summary

Introba in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Designer intern for the Summer of 2027. You will gain hands-on experience across diverse projects and work with a collaborative team to expand your knowledge and sharpen skills.

This internship offers exposure to engineering drawings, modeling, and cost estimates under supervision, with opportunities to contribute to project monitoring and reporting.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering Degree from an accredited university program.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel and engineering software.
• Exposure to Computer-aided design software (AutoCAD, Revit)

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with engineering plans and details
• Perform quantity take-offs
• Assist with project monitoring and scheduling
• Assist with computer modeling
• Assist with producing progress reports
• Collaborate with other engineers, drafters, and support staff
• Assist in production of engineering drawings, calculations, and cost estimates under close supervision of senior engineers
• Ability to apply the use of proper codes and standards in the production of engineering deliverables
