Job summary

Alcon offers 2027 Summer Internship Programs for Mechanical & Biomedical Engineering interns across multiple U.S. locations, including Johns Creek, GA. Interns gain real-world project experience, mentoring, and professional development while building technical skills.

Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited program, pursuing mechanical or biomedical engineering, and able to commit to 10–12 weeks full-time. CPT/authorization details apply for visa holders.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited university for at least one semester before and after internship.
• Pursuing at least a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or biomedical engineering.
• GPA 2.8/4.0 or higher; demonstrated leadership and ability to work on teams.

Responsibilities

• Create rapid prototypes via CAD, 3D printing, and mechanical testing.
• Support injection-molding setup, process development, and optimization.
• Design equipment for lab and research use.
• Evaluate metrology methods and document SOPs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects.
