Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited university for at least one semester prior to internship and at least one additional semester following internship.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, biomedical, biomechanical, manufacturing, industrial, plastics engineering, or related major.
• GPA minimum 2.8/4.0 and demonstrated leadership in activities or projects.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without sponsorship; 10–12 week full-time internship (40 hours/week).

Responsibilities

• Create rapid prototypes through CAD design, 3D printing, mechanical assembly and laboratory testing.
• Support injection-molding setup, process development, machine operation and workflow optimization.
• Design or improve tabletop equipment for laboratory and research applications.
• Evaluate metrology methods, measurement accuracy and SOP updates.
• Design mechanical systems that integrate with metrology equipment and robotic arms for automated measurement workflows.
