Job summary

ICF is seeking an entry‑level marketing and communications intern to support a range of initiatives across the organization. This 10‑week, full‑time internship begins in early June and ends in early August, with placements in Reston, VA; Atlanta, GA; and Oklahoma.

You will gain hands‑on experience from planning to reporting, working with cross‑functional partners. Responsibilities include drafting and publishing materials, supporting campaigns, researching audiences, and assisting with events

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 completed college-level credit hours.
• Pursuing or completed degree in marketing, communications, business, analytics or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn new tools.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, coordinate, and publish marketing materials (articles, newsletters, presentations, emails, website content, social posts, videos, infographics).
• Support planning and execution of integrated campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
• Coordinate timelines, creative requests, approvals, and stakeholder communications.
• Research audiences, industries, competitors, media opportunities, and trends.
• Collect and analyze campaign data and audience insights to support reporting.
• Assist with digital marketing, social media, paid media, website, or campaign operations.
• Support events, webinars, workshops, and engagement activities.
• Participate in meetings and training sessions while contributing ideas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete projects and meet deadlines.
