Job summary

MacLean‑Fogg is offering an Engineering Intern program in Whitewater, Wisconsin, to apply classroom learning to real manufacturing challenges. You will work with engineers, operators, quality professionals, and maintenance teams to understand product making and improve processes.

You will own a meaningful project with guidance, potentially addressing quality, scrap reduction, process improvement, automation, design, or material performance, and present results to facility leadership.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's in engineering in relevant field.
• Interest in applying engineering skills to manufacturing challenges.
• Willingness to work with data and learn new tools.
• Collaborative mindset and respect for production teams.
• Ability to organize work, communicate progress, and own a project with guidance.
• Available to work full-time on-site for the full 10-week program; limited start-date flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Learn safety practices and follow procedures in office and manufacturing areas.
• Define a project with guidance and develop practical solutions.
• Collect and analyze data to identify opportunities and measure results.
• Use CAD, testing equipment, data analysis, root-cause analysis, or lean methods.
• Present capstone project and recommendations to facility leadership.
