NDDOT Hiring Salary: $23.58/hour

Summary of Work

As a Temporary Maintenance Technician, you will perform highway, roadway, and structure maintenance. Responsibilities include roadway repairs, installing and maintaining highway signs and guardrails, operating power tools and equipment, and keeping roadways clear of hazards such as litter and debris. You will also assist with traffic control and flagging.

Additional duties involve building and ground maintenance like tree trimming, mowing, painting, fence repair, gutter cleaning, inventory tracking, and minor vehicle and equipment repairs. Assisting in the shop and parts runs are also part of the role. Maintaining a safe work environment is a key priority.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid North Dakota Class D driver’s license
• Successful completion of interview, medical screening, and reference check
