ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Supervise swimming activities and enforce safety policies
• Advise swimmers on safety and respond to emergencies
• Administer first-aid when necessary
• Work independently and maintain focus
• Inspect facilities and water safety equipment
• Communicate effectively with patrons and staff

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum:

• At least 15 years old with work permit if under 18
• Availability for a minimum of 3 days/week, including weekends and holidays
• Reliable transportation and enthusiasm for public interaction
• Ability to obtain StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Certification
• Swimming proficiency, including depth exceeding 12 feet

Preferred:

• Prior lifeguard experience
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Certification
