Summary

Ensure visitor safety at our aquatic facility, explain safety protocols, respond to emergencies, and perform opening/closing procedures. Ideal for high school teens, college students, or those seeking skill growth.

Essential Duties

• Supervise swimming activities and enforce safety policies
• Advise swimmers and respond to emergencies
• Maintain focus and evaluate safety conditions
• Complete opening/closing checklists and inspect facilities
• Assist with chemical tests and record results
• Communicate effectively with patrons and staff

Qualifications

Minimum:

• At least 15 years old with a work permit if under 18
• Available for at least 3 days/week, including weekends and holidays
• Reliable and enthusiastic with reliable transportation
• Obtain and maintain StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Certification
• Comfortable in water and proficient swimmer

Preferred:

• Prior lifeguard experience
• StarGuard Elite Certification
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
