Job Title: Summer Lifeguard

Location: Palos Verdes

Type: Non-Exempt/Hourly

Salary Range: $18.00 - $27.00

Position Type: Seasonal/Temporary

Responsibilities

• Supervise campers during pool activities
• Instruct and interact with campers
• Escort campers to activities and supervise as needed
• Monitor student behavior and uphold Chadwick core values
• Work cooperatively with staff
• Create a fun environment
• Report accidents or injuries
• Follow safety policies
• Maintain professionalism
• Be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Complete required training
• Adhere to school policies
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Current Lifeguard Certification
• High school diploma or some college preferred
• Flexibility to work early mornings or late afternoons
• Experience with children preferred
• Computer proficiency
• Legal eligibility to work in the US
• Must be at least 16 years old by June 16, 2025
• TB assessment, background check, or work permit required
