Lifeguard Job Description

The primary responsibility of a Lifeguard is to ensure the safety of patrons at an aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies. Responsibilities include enforcing pool rules, maintaining water quality, record-keeping, and reporting unsafe conditions.

This is a great summer job with flexible pool schedules. While fun, the role requires seriousness as someone's life might depend on you!

Lifeguard Requirements

• Minimum age of 15 by the hire date or last day of lifeguard course
• Availability for Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day weekends
• Availability for all weekends throughout summer
• Professional conduct, attentiveness, and focus
• Current or obtained Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications before season start

Experienced Lifeguards may be considered for Pool Manager roles, with increased responsibilities and pay.

The season runs from Saturday, May 24, 2025, to Monday, September 1, 2025.

Pay: $15.13/hr - $16/hr + Overtime. Bonus and incentives available, including a chance for a $250 bonus!
