Job Description

A Lifeguard's primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of patrons at an aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies. Responsibilities include enforcing pool rules, maintaining water quality, record keeping, and reporting unsafe conditions or equipment issues.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 15 years old by the hire date or last day of the lifeguard course
• Availability for Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day weekends
• Availability to work all weekends during summer
• Professional conduct, attentiveness, and focus
• Current or obtain before season start: Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications

Additional Information

The season begins on Saturday, May 25, 2024, and ends on Monday, September 2, 2024.

Pay rate: $15.13/hr - $16/hr + Overtime (experience-dependent). Bonus and incentive opportunities are available, including a chance to qualify for a $250 bonus.
