The Salvation Army in Elyria, Ohio is offering a summer Learning Zone Aide position to work with children in kindergarten through 6th grade. The role involves supporting class activities, supervising students, and assisting with enrichment programs in an on-site setting.

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are desired, with a high school diploma and tutoring experience preferred. This seasonal role may transfer to part-time during the school year, with duties aligned to the Learning Zone

Responsabilités

• Assist with class activities for children kindergarten to 6th grade.
• Assist with daily cleaning of Learning Zone areas.
• Lead recreation and gym activities for children.
• Support enrichment programs and planned activities.
• Actively supervise children throughout the day.
• Attend in-service training and follow Keepsafe protocols.
• Assist with assessments and tracking for program records.
• Help plan and serve snacks and class activities as needed.
• Uphold The Salvation Army mission and values.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Corps Commanding Officers
