The Salvation Army USA Eastern Territory seeks a Learning Zone Supervisor in Elyria, OH to oversee daily operations, ensure academic standards, and uphold the program's spiritual emphasis.

Lead staff, supervise children, coordinate family nights, and collaborate with parents and local schools. Ensure accurate records and reporting for funding sources while promoting safe, faith-based youth programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Commitment to Christian evangelical outreach to youth and their families.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and appropriate intervention skills.
• Relative experience in a classroom setting or in a setting involving work with children.
• Experience in staff supervision.
• Salvation Army background preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily operations of the Learning Zone.
• Ensure program meets academic standards and mission of The Salvation Army.
• Supervise and guide Learning Zone staff on day-to-day operations.
• Attend to safety and physical needs of children.
• Maintain records and coordinate with parents, teachers, and funding sources.
• Market and enroll children, plan family events, and ensure transportation standards.
