Job summary

Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking an Investment Analyst Intern to support the Investment Products and Research team.

You will assist with investment due diligence, data analytics, and preparing reports as you progress from research to analysis and recommendations. You will work with Morningstar Direct, PitchBook, FactSet, and SEC filings, collaborating with a mentor on projects and a weekly market commentary.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate student in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Statistics, Real Estate, or related field.
• Strong analytical thinking and intellectual curiosity with professional skepticism.
• Attention to detail and interest in understanding investments and markets.
• Clear written communication and presentation skills; able to collaborate.
• Previous internship experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support investment products and research through due diligence and evaluation.
• Research investment managers, sponsors, opportunities, and risks.
• Contribute to data analytics and insurance projects as prioritized.
• Collaborate with a senior analyst on weekly market commentary or a research paper.
• Review sponsor materials, regulatory filings, and other sources.
• Prepare reports and presentations to support research and due diligence.
