Job summary

PACCAR Parts invites applications for a Summer Internship in Product Definition Analytics in Renton, WA. You will work with the Product Definition team on aftermarket parts analytics, lifecycle data, and AI-driven process improvements.

You will gain hands-on experience with reporting tools, BI development, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering, pricing, and IT. This paid internship targets college students, typically juniors or seniors, offering mentoring and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Analyze aftermarket parts, vehicle, and product lifecycle data to support Product Definition activities.
• Assist with AI and automation initiatives to improve data analysis and reporting workflows.
• Support reporting by compiling, analyzing, and summarizing data for visibility.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Definition, Engineering, Pricing, Marketing, Materials and IT.
• Document business processes and recommendations related to analytics and improvements.
• Assist with testing and validation of system updates and data-related enhancements.

PACCAR Parts has an exciting Product Definition Analytics summer internship opening in Renton, WA. The selected candidate will work directly with our Product Definition team, gaining exposure and experience in aftermarket parts analytics, business intelligence reporting, product lifecycle analysis, and AI-driven process improvement initiatives supporting PACCAR Parts operations.

• Learn first-hand from top industry professionals
• Work directly with managers and senior analysts
• Develop mentoring relationships with Product Definition and Aftersales leaders
• Gain valuable hands-on experience with aftermarket systems, product data, reporting tools and AI-assisted business processes

Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Analyze aftermarket parts, vehicle, and product lifecycle data to support Product Definition activities and business decision-making.
• Assist with AI and automation initiatives focused on improving data analysis, process efficiency, reporting workflows, and information management.
• Support reporting activities by compiling, analyzing, and summarizing data for reporting visibility.
• Collaborate with Product Definition, Engineering, Pricing, Marketing, Materials, and IT teams on cross-functional projects and process improvement efforts.
• Document business processes, findings, and recommendations related to analytics and operational improvements.
• Assist with testing and validation of system updates, process changes, and data-related enhancements.

Qualifications

• Strong PC Skills including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Wage Scale or Salary Range

The salary range for our intern positions is as follows:

• Undergraduate Students: $25.00/Hour
• Graduate Students: $30.00/Hour
• Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
