Job summary

BNY invites high-potential undergraduates to its 2027 Summer Internship Program in People, Engagement, and Impact. The 10-week experience accelerates development, builds networks, and exposes interns to BNY's global financial services culture.

Interns will participate in onboarding, mentorship, and structured project work aligned to talent and governance priorities, while gaining hands-on experience with analytics, AI enablement, and employee experience initiatives.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors preferred.
• Graduating in Dec 2027 or May 2028 (U.S.).
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
• Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status.

Responsibilities

• Support People, Engagement, and Impact priorities by contributing to initiatives across governance, employee relations, policy, and philanthropy.
• Analyze onboarding and employee experiences to improve processes using feedback and data insights.
• Pilot generative AI tools to enhance operations and draft knowledge articles.
• Build dashboards to track engagement, exit patterns, learning participation, and community impact.
• Assist with internal talent mobility and pulse surveys to inform people strategies.
