Job summary

PACCAR Parts offers a Summer Internship in IT Applications where students are integrated into department meetings and given real project work. You will contribute to requirements gathering, testing, and basic troubleshooting while gaining insight into PACCAR's technology and operations.

Ideal candidates are currently enrolled or recent graduates with strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support IT Applications projects by assisting with requirements gathering, process understanding, documentation, and day-to-day application support for PACCAR Parts.
• Learn and help navigate PACCAR systems and tools; assist with basic troubleshooting and coordination with the IT team to resolve user requests.
• Perform functional testing for application changes (create/update test cases, execute tests, log defects, and confirm fixes).
• Develop foundational understanding of AI concepts and how AI/automation may be applied to improve business processes.

Requisition Summary

The PACCAR Parts Summer Internship Program provides an opportunity to learn about PACCAR through a work assignment in IT Applications. Each intern will be integrated into division and department meetings, activities and events to ensure an understanding of PACCAR. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to our dynamic organization, while enhancing your resume. At the end of your internship, you have the opportunity to present your accomplishments to your fellow interns and senior management. Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Support IT Applications projects by assisting with requirements gathering, process understanding, documentation, and day-to-day application support for PACCAR Parts.
• Learn and help navigate PACCAR systems and tools; assist with basic troubleshooting, issue triage, and coordination with the IT team to resolve user requests.
• Perform functional testing for application changes (create/update test cases, execute tests, log defects, and confirm fixes) to help ensure successful releases.
• foundational understanding of AI concepts and how AI/automation may be applied to improve business processes .
• Participate in department/division meetings and internship activities to build understanding of PACCAR's business and culture.

Wage Scale or Salary Range

The salary range for our intern positions is as follows:

• Undergraduate Students: $25.00/Hour
• Graduate Students: $30.00/Hour
• Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
