Job summary

Trex Company is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineering Intern to participate in our Summer Internship Program. You will lead and support continuous improvement efforts within manufacturing to support operational excellence.

This on-site internship involves participating in CI events (Kaizens), identifying and eliminating wastes, and assisting CI Engineers with routing tasks; you will interact with Trex engineers and production operations personnel.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited industrial, mechanical, or chemical engineering program and must have successfully completed at least two semesters of coursework with a GPA of 3.0 or above.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support continuous improvement efforts within manufacturing to support operational excellence.
• Participate in CI Events (Kaizens), identify and eliminate wastes, and assist CI Engineers with routing tasks.
• Work in an industrial environment and interact with Trex engineers and production operations personnel.
